For Nike’s Elite Athletes Summit, GangGang was invited to deliver a social-first workshop designed to help the next generation of athletes (ages 15–18) understand how to show up online with confidence, clarity and authenticity.

The session centred around building a personal brand as an athlete - not in a corporate, polished way but in a real, grounded way that feels true to who they are. We broke down what it means to show your personality, your process and your point of view. How that ultimately strengthens fan connection, sponsor potential and long-term career storytelling.

We explored:

  • Authenticity as a competitive advantage - how to stand out by being yourself, not by performing an internet version of “an athlete.”

  • Understanding platforms - a punchy comparison of TikTok vs Instagram so athletes could decide where their style, comfort level and content naturally fit.

  • How to build your “online game” - simple frameworks for what to post (behind-the-scenes, routines, milestones, personality moments), how often, and how to maintain consistency without feeling like “a creator.”

  • Visual identity and tone - how to let your personality shape your online presence just as much as your sport does.

A short interactive activity had athletes brainstorm the core parts of their identity - their “pillars”:
what they stand for, what makes them memorable and what they want people to feel when they land on their profile. They then paired up to pitch each other’s “brand” aloud, helping them quickly see what makes them distinct through someone else’s eyes.

The session blended insight, practical tools and energy - giving young athletes a clear, confidence-building roadmap for showing up online in a way that feels natural, sustainable and theirs.
